Fighter jets are military aircraft designed by major aviation firms and almost solely employed by governments with the purpose of attacking other aircraft. Fighter Jets are designed to gain air superiority and rule the skies, whereas bombers are designed to attack ground sites. A good example of air superiority is the great job the United States Air Force has done in the last few wars it has participated in. Some of my favorite fighter jet pictures are below:
