Deck the halls with ugly sweaters! ‘Tis the season for tacky cardigans and warm woolen clothes of questionable taste. The Daily Green has a hilarious photo slide show of some festive sweaters that will make you drop your jaw and feel the holiday spirit at the same time.
According to a recent Consumer Reports poll, a total of 36 percent of American adults said they would recycle a gift this holiday season.
The article in the Chicago Tribune compared that number with 31 percent of adults who said they would pass on a gift that had been received by them from someone else in 2008, and 24 percent in 2007.
No doubt due to the recession, about a third said they would spend less this year on holiday gifts than they spent the previous year.
Perhaps not shocking, the poll also found that six percent of adults are still carrying holiday debt from last year.
What will you regift this year?
