There’s a new app in the iTunes app store that allows you to be a one man band. The app, named Everyday Looper, allows you to grab a piece of audio and loop it (play it back over and over again). Once you’ve got that down, grab another song snippet and loop that! The goal is to make something that sort of resembles a song. To see the app in action check out the video below!
Remember a few years back when “Here it Goes Again” was not only a popular song, but an incredibly popular music video? Guys running around on treadmills and singing a catchy tune. It doesn’t get much better than that. Or does it…? Here’s OK Go’s newest video for their song, “This Too Shall Pass,” that’s already hitting viral status. It even pays a small homage to their previous video, so keep your eye out for it! The new video is a collaboration between the band and Synn Labs to produce the elaborate machine featured in the flick, as well as some direction with the short movie.

What if The Beatles Never Broke Up?
alternate universe, beatles break up, the beatles, time travel
According to a guy named James Richards, the Beatles didn’t break up, at least not everywhere. Richards has experienced something that is probably unbelievable to most people: an alternate universe. In this other world, James realized The Beatles were, in fact, still together and making music. Luckily, he was able to make it back with a tape, Everyday Chemistry, that he is now sharing with the rest of the world!
So, take a listen! Did The Beatles break up?

The Beatles - Everyday Chemistry
Whether you believe Richards’ story or not, the idea is incredibly amusing and worth checking out.
The birth of YouTube was truly a gift to the internet. Not only can we find tons of copyright infringing music videos, television and movie clips, but now the everyday Joe has the opportunity to create and share their own works of art. Amateur video making has brought us memorable homemade minis like “Charlie Bit My Finger” and “David After Dentist“. Now video artists are taking it a step further by piecing together some amazing mashups. Below is a sampling of some of the top mashups currently on YouTube.
Sgt. Pepper’s Paradise City – A blend of The Beatles and Guns n’ Roses
Lady Gaga vs Christopher Walken – A mix of Lady Gaga’s music and Christopher Walken’s lovely voice
We Will Rock and Roll Beverly Hills – a combination of Queen, Joan Jett, and Weezer.
And just for fun, we’ll throw in a mashup unrelated to music but full of brilliance nonetheless.
Friends Meets Superfriends
