Obscura Digital Cuelight Interactive Pool Table

, , ,

Pool is probably one of the greatest past times ever. The game is usually accompanied by good drinks and great friends. Pool is also a game of precision and requires great immense skill to achieve victory. This is all good stuff, right? Well apparently, pool is still a little boring for some players, so Obscura Digital came up with a way to spice up the game. Their Cuelight Interactive Pool Table uses innovative technology to track movement along the table to create spectacular visual effects. While it looks pretty amazing, it’s difficult to image how a player can focus with all the movement! Check out the demo video below:

Everyday Looper

, ,

There’s a new app in the iTunes app store that allows you to be a one man band. The app, named Everyday Looper, allows you to grab a piece of audio and loop it (play it back over and over again). Once you’ve got that down, grab another song snippet and loop that! The goal is to make something that sort of resembles a song. To see the app in action check out the video below!

Nets Partner with Roni Deutch

Nets Partner with Roni Deutch

The New Jersey Nets actually have a shot at winning something: the record for the fewest wins in an NBA season. The Nets have won a whopping six games. In order to drum up publicity and motivate fans to attend their games, the Nets have partnered with Tax Lady Roni Lynn Deutch to offer free tax services to New Jersey residents.

Fans who attend the Nets’ first game against the Orlando Magic will be eligible for a free income tax return from the Roni Deutch Tax Center. Deutch believes that this partnership is a perfect match, considering tax season and basketball season overlap. Having played college softball, Roni is no stranger to sports fandom and has stated that she knows “two things about sports fans: They take sports very seriously and they still have to deal with the IRS.”

Roni Deutch and the Nets are excited about this new partnership and the opportunity to create a winning situation for the fans, and hopefully, for the Nets.

Nets now offer fans tax returns
