The birth of YouTube was truly a gift to the internet. Not only can we find tons of copyright infringing music videos, television and movie clips, but now the everyday Joe has the opportunity to create and share their own works of art. Amateur video making has brought us memorable homemade minis like “Charlie Bit My Finger” and “David After Dentist“. Now video artists are taking it a step further by piecing together some amazing mashups. Below is a sampling of some of the top mashups currently on YouTube.

Friends Meets Superfriends

It was only a year ago that Rod Blagojevich, former governor of Illinois, was making the news disgraced in a corruption scandal involving bribes, fraud, conspiracy and a gluttony of other charges. Last summer, Blagojevich attempted to make his way into prime time with I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Outta Here, but his wife took the spot instead. So now, he’s on his second attempt to make a better name for himself by joining the cast of the Celebrity Apprentice.

Celebrity Apprentice will begin its third season in March of 2010. Other notable names that made the cut: Bret Michaels, Sinbad, and Sharon Osbourne. The cast consists of a total of 14 celebrities competing for the various charities they love.

Here’s to watching 13 famous people lose their jobs all for a good cause!
