There’s a new report out that could confirm long-held stereotypes about conservatives and liberals.
The report by Hunch, a problem-solving Web site, is titled “How food preferences vary by political ideology.”
Some key findings seem to strengthen a belief some have that liberals love tofu and are vegetarians, while conservatives favor fast-food and mainstream options like McDonald’s.
For example, the report shows that 63 percent of conservatives who participated said they are likely to eat fast-food “at least a few times a week.” On the other hand, about 92 percent of liberals are more likely to say “rarely or never” to fast food.
Liberals like to eat French brie, while conservatives favor American Velveeta.
The report drew on aggregated data collected between April 2009 and November 2009 from Hunch.
Check it out, the rest of the results are very interesting!
